About the use of artificial intelligence

The journal's editors consider the author's misuse of AI-generated results that infringe another person's intellectual property rights, as well as the misuse of AI tools in manuscript preparation, to be a violation of academic integrity.

Artificial intelligence should support the author's creative work in writing a scientific article, not replace it. The rationale for the research, the scientific analysis of the results obtained, and the formulation of conclusions are part of any scientific process and, therefore, a key duty and responsibility of the author of the scientific article. Transferring these tasks to artificial intelligence is unacceptable.

When writing an article, the author must adhere to ethical standards, guarantee the transparency of the methods used and the originality of the data obtained, and bear responsibility for the misuse of AI tools.

If the author used AI tools in their research and writing of the article (for creating figures or graphs, design modeling, statistical analysis of the obtained data, searching for relevant literature, generating an abstract, etc.), he must declare this in the «Materials and Methods» of article with a reference to the description of the instruments used.

The author must carefully control the AI-generated results and is responsible for their authenticity and originality.

Review of a manuscript should not be done using AI tools, since this process requires the reviewer's own scientific experience and analytical thinking, which are the key to an academic critical analysis of the article's materials.

When working with a manuscript, authors and reviewers should always remember that information transmitted to the AI ​​system (manuscript text, digital data) may be stored in the memory of the corresponding service, which could lead to copyright and privacy violations.
