The mitochondrial respiratory activity of sperm from roosters and turkeys (as models) under cryopreservation conditions in the presence of various cryoprotectants was studied. It has been demonstrated that 1,2-propanediol is the optimal cryoprotectron for sperm cells, both native and after freezing - warming.
