RATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL THERAPY OF TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS USING ENDOGEN PANCREAS RESERVES

Influence of the short-term insulin therapy on indices of the carbo-hydrate metabolism and insulin resistance has been studied against the background of therapy with the Metphogamma® drug. This study suggested that insulin combined specifically with metphormin gave a profound decrease in the glycolized hemoglobin level, a slight gain in body mass, some hypoglycemia cases.
