THE VALUE OF sCD40L IN PREDICTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS AND ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

The value of sCD40L and presence of cardiovascular complications were examined based on the investigation of 56 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension. The level of sCD40L was increase in patients with diabetes mellitus. The mathematical model for prediction the development of cardiovascular complications has shown the value of sCD40L as a marker of cardiovascular risk.
