Abstract

It was found that women with PCOS have hier levels of the NO metabolites and lowered concentration of the L-arginine in the blood serum. Application Tivortin leads to an increase L-arginine, reduces of NOx and improves endothelial function by reducing endothelin-1, endothelial growth factor and homocysteine in blood. The therapy leads to decreases number of antral follicles in the ovaries, improves hemodynamics in the ovarian vessels: reduced peak systolic and end diastolic velocity, resistance index.
