Abstract

In the experimental model of the acute pancreatitis in rats revealed significant violations of energy processes, characterized by a decrease in the content of nicotinamide dinucleotide in the pancreas, liver, and brain. Moreover, in the pancreas and liver redox state of free NAD(P)/NAD(P)H pairs shifted toward reduction. Under these conditions significantly changed the content of most essential and non-essential amino acids in blood serum and liver. Among the semiessential amino acids most varied content of arginine and ornithine. Using of dietary supplement «Alpha + Omega» containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A and E, minerals zinc and selenium, partially restores the energy processes in the tissues of rats with acute pancreatitis, especially in the pancreas by increasing the content of nicotinamide dinucleotide and the ratio of free NAD(P)/NAD(P)H pairs, and facilitated the normalization of the amino acid content in blood serum and liver.
